In 1985 the Chickasha Public School Foundation (CPSF) was formed to raise funds for the Chickasha School District to ensure the continued advancement of educational opportunities. The original founders saw the need to meet and exceed the ever-increasing academic standards of the day's marketplace. This group had the foresight to see the impact on education from changing economic conditions and the potential cuts in state funding.
The Chickasha Public School Foundation is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization with contributions being deductible for Federal and State Income Tax purposes. The foundation is funded through an endowment and annual fund raising events. Grants and scholarships are awarded once each year for programs that increase educational opportunities and to those students selected by the CPSF to receive one of three scholarships awarded by the Foundation.
